Hey everyone, and welcome to my blog!
I’ve wanted to start writing again and share a little more about me, my life, my memories and the things that inspire me. So I thought, what better place to start than by introducing myself?
I’ve always been a creative person. From a young age, I loved visiting art galleries and museums with my family, and that’s where my love for art, design, history and creativity really began. I’ve always enjoyed making things, taking photographs and finding inspiration in the places around me.
As I got older, that creativity became an even bigger part of my life. I went on to study Promotional Design and Visual Merchandising at university, something that helped me develop my own style, build my confidence and learn more about an industry I was passionate about.
But this blog isn’t just going to be about design.
It’s going to be about life.
I want this to be somewhere I can share the good times, the difficult times and everything in between. I’ll be writing about travelling, holidays, photography, creativity, work, mental health, friendships, memories and some of the amazing places I’ve been lucky enough to visit.
Life definitely hasn’t always gone to plan. There have been ups and downs, moments that have tested me and times when I’ve had to remind myself just how far I’ve come. But there have also been so many laughs, adventures and memories that I never want to forget.
That’s one of the reasons I wanted to create this blog — to have somewhere all of those memories can live.
Some posts might make you laugh, some might be emotional, and some might simply be me sharing a place or experience that I loved.
Most importantly, I want this blog to be me — real, personal and full of memories.
So, welcome to my little corner of the internet.
Grab a cuppa, have a read and come along for the journey.
This is only the beginning…
Welcome to My First Blog Post
My interest in art and history began at an early age. Growing up, I often visited art galleries and museums with my family, and these experiences became a huge source of inspiration for me. They encouraged me to be creative and helped shape my love for design.
I was also a member of the Air Cadets, where I learned the importance of teamwork, responsibility and taking pride in my appearance. During my time there, I developed valuable skills such as marching, first aid and organising events. In my final year, I was proudly promoted to Corporal, which gave me the responsibility of supporting and leading others.
I have always enjoyed spending my spare time being creative. One of my favourite hobbies is making greeting cards inspired by art exhibitions, travel and everyday life. I love taking ideas from the world around me and turning them into something unique.
I’m from the Wirral, close to Liverpool—an amazing city with so much to see and do, from shopping and sightseeing to its incredible culture and history.
I’m currently studying Promotional Design and Visual Merchandising. My course has allowed me to develop my creativity, learn new skills and take the first steps towards an exciting career in visual merchandising.
Thank you for reading my first post. I’m looking forward to sharing more about my creativity, inspirations, travels and journey into visual merchandising!
